This summer heat has us wanting to spend the day at the beach or sitting poolside with a drink in hand.. But the combination of sun and some dehydrating drinks can take a major toll on our skin. Facial spritzers and tinted sunscreen can only do so much after a vibrant day in the sun and a few glasses of rose.

The Chalkboard Mag lists a few ways to pack for a glowier day out in the sun and our skin is already thanking us:

·       Multiply Your Hydration.

Balance the ratio between cocktails and water. Spike your water with hydrating electrolytes. Some electrolyte powders can even match the effects of two to three bottles of water.

·       Hydrate with Food.

Hydration is about more than just drinking water. Fruits and vegetables are packed with plenty of minerals and nutrients that help absorb water and help maintain hydration levels.

·       Powerful Skin Supplements.

Vitamins and supplements make for powerful antioxidants especially on vacation days, helping keep skin even and smooth.
